Travel Resources
Below are my favorite travel resources to use when planning a trip to Florida!
Hotels
Booking.com
I love using Booking.com because they have the biggest selection accommodation choices, including hotels, vacation rentals, and more. Plus most of the hotels on Booking.com offer a free cancellation option (which I highly recommend taking advantage of).
Expedia
Expedia is another booking platform that I use frequently. Its user-friendly and they also have some great deals on hotels. I usually always compare the same hotel on Booking.com with Expedia to see which one offers the best deal.
VBRO
If you’re traveling with a group to Florida, it may be worth it to book a VBRO. One of the things I love about VBRO vs Airbnb is that VBRO guarantees that you will be the only occupants of the rental (meaning you won’t have shared space with the owners or other guests like you do with private rooms on Airbnb).
Things to Do
Tours & Activities – Viator
Viator is a great option for finding things to do and tours offered in a certain city. For example, you can book a dolphin cruise in Clearwater or a sunset cruise in Key West. Another bonus of using Viator is that a lot of activities offer a free cancellation option.
Tours & Activities – Get Your Guide
Get Your Guide is similar to Viator, and offers a range of activities, tours, and attraction tickets. I recommend checking out both Get Your Guide and Viator to see what options are available for where you are visiting!
Flights
For flights, I recommend booking directly with the airline. This way, incase of major delays or cancellations the airline can quickly assist and/or rebook you. To find the best flight prices, utilize Google Flights to search different days and airports. Once you find a great deal, you can book directly with that airline.
